Note:
External Stopper Is Mandatory For Extended Position of Piston Arm But No Stopper Required For Fully Retracted Position.
Installation Information:
For Swing-In Gates, the piston arms should be fully retracted when gates are fully open so gates can't open any further and that's how you set the gates' open position. However for gates' closed position, the gates should be closed against the external stopper so that the control board cuts off the motor's power due to current sensing. In this closed position, the piston arms will be in extended position but make sure that the arms are not fully extended and external stopper stop the gates before the pistons are completely extended.
For Swing-Out Gates, the piston arms should be fully retracted for gates' closed position and the use of external stopper is optional. However for gates open position, the gates should be opened against the external stoppers so that the control board cuts off the motors' power due to current sensing. In this open position, the piston arms will be in extended position but make sure that the arms are not fully extended and external stoppers stop the gates before the pistons are completely extended.
